Before I leave...

Hey everyone! So, I'm sure you all are going to miss me entirely too much so for your sake, I set up this blog so you can follow me through my adventures around the world! I'm leaving this Friday the 2nd of February (if all goes as planned and the weather cooperates, Mario may have jinxed us) and will be back May14th arriving in Denver at approximately 11:00 pm so you have 3.5 months to finish your "Welcome Home" posters (glitter and all) to greet me at DIA. haha, just kidding :)

I'll try not to bore you and I'll do my best to keep these as entertaining and detailed as possible. I'll be able to check my email (adrienne.martinez@gmail.com) and I would love to hear from you as I'm sure I'll be getting pretty home sick so please keep me updated on your life as well.

What my "campus" will be like:

Semester at Sea’s voyages take place aboard the MV Explorer, a 24,000-ton passenger ship built in 2002 and equipped as a floating university. As the heart of the Semester at Sea program, the ship quickly becomes home to students, faculty, and staff. The shipboard campus includes classrooms, study areas, and an 8,000-volume core library that supports the itinerary and the global, comparative academic focus of Semester at Sea. Other facilities include two dining rooms, a student union, a campus store, a swimming pool, fitness facilities, a wellness center, and a health clinic.
